Kitchener, ON — Softball Canada’s coaching staff will reconvene in a few months to make final roster selections for its seniors men’s team that will compete at the VII Pan American Championships in Hermosillo, Mexico from Sept. 29 to Oct. 9th.

That team could include locals Bill Simmons from Smithville, Ian Fehrman of Townsend, and Chris Shewfelt from St. Catherines. The trio were in an intrasquad game at the Senior Men’s Evaluation Camp in Kitchener.

Shortstop Fehrman, who also had a single, showed his defensive abilities with a diving catch of a line drive that denied the Greys a hit. Shewfelt also had a hit for the Greys.
