Tenpin federation names St. Kitts bowler marketing chief

A St. Catharines native will take aim at growing marketing opportunities for the Canadian Tenpin Federation. Robin Crawford-Orlikowski is the national bowling organizations new marketing co-ordinator.

The six-time Team Canada member currently lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she operates High Revs Marketing out of her home. Crawford-Orlikowski, who was born in St. Catharines, served as marketing manager for the Young American Bowling Congress in Greendale, Wisconsin for several years before her marriage brought her to Grand Rapids.

She has a business management degree from Morehead State University.

As a Team Canada member since 2000, she serves as chair of the athletes council and was representing them on the CTF
board of directors. She will step down from that responsibility in accepting her new marketing role but will remain involved with the CTF. Federation president Cathy Innes of Richmond, B.C. has appointed her a director-at-large.

Crawford-Orlikowski says she plans to “develop relationships with companies inside and outside the field of bowling that will help develop and drive CTF toward its goals.”

The CTF was formed in 1969 to qualify representatives for international competition. and became a full member in August 2004. Prior to that membership services to tenpin bowlers in Canada were provided by the American Bowling Congress, the Women’s International Bowling Congress and the Young American Bowling Alliance, all headquartered in the USA.
