Canada chooses Caistor Centre’s Creech for World Breeders

OTTAWA – Diane Creech of Caistor Centre is ready for a little horsing around in Europe.

Dressage Canada has selected Creech and Devon L to represent this country at the World Breeders Championships for Young Horses in Verden, Germany. Creech will be competing from August 4-6 in the six-year-old division with the 16.3hh Hanoverian gelding Devon L, owned by Doug and Louise Leatherdale of Minnesota.

The 43-year-old Creech was born in Columbus, Georgia, raised in Germany and came to Canada in 1989 to work as a trainer. In 2005, Creech and Devon L rode to the 2005 Canadian FEI Five-Year-Old Championship title. Their 2006 competition season includes wins in the FEI Six-Year-Old Division in Florida with scores above 80%.

Creech has demonstrated much success in the FEI Young Horse classes, having expertly guided a number of horses from
these classes onto successful careers in the Advanced division.
