EDMONTON – Carl Spiering finds himself in a good position today. The Jordan Station resident posted a 6.168 seconds pass at 231.12 miles per hour to finish third in the Knoll Gas-Torco Pro Modified qualifiers Friday (June 23).
Spiering was one of two Canadians to grab top three spots at the opening of the CARS RV & Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals. Sitting first in the provisional top three is Rick Distefano from Calgary. He shattered the Castrol Raceway track record with a 6.134/228.42 mph pass.
