Cincinnati Cyclones to blow into Hamilton

The American Hockey League’s Hamilton Bulldogs have a new ice partner.

The Cincinnati Cyclones, who ran out of wind after the 2003-04 season, return to the East Coast Hockey League as the Bulldogs affiliate for the 2006-07 campaign. The Cyclones will also be affiliated with the Montreal Canadiens, who are the Bulldogs National Hockey League affiliate.

The Long Beach Ice Dogs had been the Bulldogs affiliate for the past two seasons.

The ECHL granted the Cyclones a voluntary suspension for the 2004-2005 and the 2005-2006 seasons.
