Fall season is start of Halton elite baseball programs

Don’t let the Fall season fool you. Baseball isn’t necessarily ending. The Halton Athletic Club is holding tryouts next weekend (Sept. 9-10) for all its development and competitive programs. The two-day session will take place at the Maplehurst Diamond (just south of Highway 401 at Highway 25).

Tryouts, for players at all position between the ages of 12 and 18, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Prospects should wear full uniforms and bring whatever personal equipment they would use during a game.

The elite baseball organization suggests interested players visit their website, www.hacbaseball.com for detailed information, including directions to the park and the HAC’s mission statement.

Cost for all tryouts is $50.00. Athletes and parents will receive full information on additional Fall training and competitive programs (including schedules and costs) at the tryouts.
