Bulldogs send Stewart to Cincinnati Cyclones

Rookie Left winger Greg Stewart has been assigned to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League by the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Stewart, Montreal Canadiens eighth round pick, 246th overall in the 2004 NHL entry draft, hasn’t played in any of the Bulldogs five American Hockey League games this season. He had three assists in the Bulldogs four preseason games.
The Kitchener native is a graduate of the Ontario Hockey League’s Peterborough Petes. Stewart, a 6-2, 197-pound forward, registered 83 points and 270 penalty minutes in 186 regular schedule OHL games over three seasons. His junior playoff stats were 13 points in 34 post-season games.
