Hamilton Bulldogs’ defenceman Jon Gleed is off to Cincinnati. The American Hockey League team is loaning the 22-year-old Milton native to the East Coast Hockey League’s Cyclones.
Gleed, in his rookie AHL season, has appeared in three games with the Bulldogs, logging one assist.
The 6-2, 212-pound blueliner and graduate of Cornell University in the Eastern College Athletic Conference, compiled a record of five goals and 16 assists in 98 games with the Ivy League’s Big Red.
The Cyclones, affiliated with the Bulldogs and National Hockey League’s Montreal Canadiens are 4-6 in league play. They sit sixth in the ECHL’s seven-team American Conference’s North Division.
