Mohawk tames Lions to grab first place in women’s volleyball

First place in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association women’s volleyball belongs to the Mohawk Mountaineers.

With its three match sweep of the Lambton Lions in Sarnia on Wednesday night, the Mountaineers remained unbeaten to sit atop the Central West Division at 3-0.

Mountaineers took the Lions 25-12,25-15, and 25-16. Janette Jakubiec (Dundas) had 12 offensive points from seven kills, three stuff blocks and two service aces.
