Mohawk Mountaineers men’s basketball team ended its losing streak with a narrow 92-91 win over the Sarnia Lambton Lions on Wednesday night.
Mohawk had lost its previous two Ontario Colleges Athletic Association cage outings but improved its record to 3-2 with Wednesday’s win.
Igor Trbojevic (Hamilton) had 29 points for the victors while Panyin Kyei (Toronto) dropped in another 25. Dave Almas (Hamilton) had 12 points and Ray Downey (Waterdown) chipped in with 10.
