Cauley gets top marks for the 10-pin high rollers

Travis Cauley rolled an 803 triple – 289, 235 and 279 – in a recent junior 10-pin tournament in Rochester, N.Y.

The 18-year-old Hamilton bowler picked up where he left off last spring when he sent the pins flying with an impressive 821 triple (277, 296, and 248) for the last three games of a four-game set in Guelph. He has three sanctioned 300 games to his credit – two in Hamilton and one in Guelph.

In other knockings in the Hamilton Tenpin Bowling Association, three perfect games have been fired this season, all at Prime Time Bowl. William Russell, Art Oliver Jr. & Lionel Lewis Jr. scored the aces.

And missing by one pin were Oliver, and Jonathon Favalaro, both at Prime Time. At the Hamilton Mountain Bowl, John Olejar and Mick Anderer rolled 298s. Tripping 800s were Russell (816), and Oliver (800).

Surpassing 1000 for four games were Oliver (1063, 1054, 1035), Russell (1056, 1039), Russell Ross (1029), Wendy Zielonka (1017) and Lewis (1005).

Larry Legg posted a 290 game.
