The Hamilton Bulldogs will have Mikhail Grabovski back in the lineup for their game in Winnipeg against the Manitoba Moose on Thursday.
The parent National Hockey League Montreal Canadiens returned the centreman to their American Hockey League affiliate today.
Grabovski, 22, was recalled by Montreal last Friday and played in his first-career NHL game the following night (Jan.6) against the New York Rangers. The native of Potsdam, Germany, appeared in three games with the Canadiens during his call-up, going scoreless with five shots on goal.
The 5-foot-11, 183-pound forward has 28 points (10-18-28), 14 penalty minutes and a plus-6 rating in 35 games with the Bulldogs in this his first AHL season. Grabovski was drafted by Montreal in the fifth round, 150th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
