Musical “teams” continue for Maxim Lapierre. Montreal Canadiens have re-assigned the forward back to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Lapierre, 21, has appeared in 13 games with the National Hockey League Canadiens this season, registering three goals and two assists. He has a plus-3 rating and six penalty minutes.
When the 6-foot-2, 197-pound centreman was recalled by Montreal from the American Hockey League Bulldogs on Jan. 5, Lapierre had 21 points (9-12-21), 55 penalty minutes and a plus-7 rating in 32 games.
The native of St-Leonard, Quebec was drafted by Montreal in the second round, 61st overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs return to action at 7:30 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 26) when the San Antonio Rampage visit Copps Coliseum.
