Hamilton Thunderbirds scored single runs in each of the first three innings and carried that 3-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning on Sunday (July 8).

When the London Majors came to bat they pushed seven runs across the plate and handed the Steeltown visitors a 10-4 beating. The loss left the Thunderbirds record at 12-18 while London improved to 13-17.
Josh Palmer picked up the win going seven innings. He allowed three runs on six hits and six walks, while retiring six batters on strikes. Bill Lawrence took the loss for Hamilton as he gave up four runs on two hits through his one-third of an inning on the mound. He issued one walk.
The T-Birds were charged with five errors.
Adam Strongman was the best at the plate for Hamilton with two singles.
