Marauders’ football adds Cable 14 to broadcast roster

McMaster Marauders will have five of their next six Ontario University Athletics football games broadcast on Cable 14. Three of the games will be broadcast live.

For the games, play-by-play will be handled by Todd Crocker, colour commentary will be provided by Don Edwards, and statistics will be compiled by Norm Miller. Steve Coulson will handle production.

The Cable 14 broadcasts begin this weekend with the No. 9 ranked Marauders travelling to Kingston to take on the No. 10 ranked Queen’s Golden Gaels.

Marauders games can also be heard on 900 CHML radio and Mac’s campus station, CFMU (93.3).

The schedule of broadcasts for Cable 14 is as follows:

Sunday, Sept. 16, vs. Queen’s, noon, tape delay.
Saturday, Sept. 22, vs. Toronto, 1 p.m., live.
Saturday, Sept. 29, vs. Ottawa, 1 p.m., live.
Sunday, Oct. 7, vs. Waterloo, noon, tape delay.
Saturday, Oct. 13, vs. York, 1 p.m., Homecoming, live.

Cable 14 is a local specialty channel funded by the local cable companies and serving the Hamilton community for over 35 years. The channel is available to approximately 150,000 cable subscribers.
