Crystal Oakes and Kathleen Mansen were both 4-2 in women’s singles and Mansen was runner-up in the “B” Flight. Oakes and Kristina Hall went 3-2 in women’s doubles, as did their Mohawk tandem of Laura and Sherri Arbour. The Arbour sisters then finished as runners-up in “B” Flight. Jill Larlee and Lindsay Holota were runners-up in “D” Flight.
Coach Matt Schnarr also had words of praise for Jose Morales and Ben Naksuwan, who he said played great over the weekend and are making big strides. “These two young players proved they aren’t to be taken lightly, as they challenged more experienced and club players all weekend long. I’m looking forward to seeing their progression over the next month.”
