Two HOC athletes tested at Prospects meet


Katie Klodnicki and Alyssa DiCesare carried the colours of the Hamilton Olympic Club in the Feb. 9 Indoor Prospect Series Meet #3 staged at the University of Western Ontario in London.

HOC newcomer Klodnicki, a student at Grimsby District Secondary School, competed in the women’s shotput 4 kilogram division. She had a heave of 10.71 metres.

DiCesare, a Grade 8 student at Sir Wilfrid Laurier competing in the shotput’s 3kg division. It was measured at 9.60m.

The Hamilton Olympic Club (HOC) is the oldest track and field organization in Canada. Established in 1926, the Club provides quality training opportunities to Hamilton’s youth. Many HOC athletes have competed at the provincial, national and Olympic level.
