Wismer awards events going full speed ahead

The sixth annual Wismer Foundation Golf Tournament and Award Presentation Dinner are set for Tuesday, Sept. 15t at Carlisle Golf & Country Club. This event supports the Wismer Foundation, which annually presents cash scholarships to an exceptional male and female student-athlete graduating from Barton Secondary School for the continuation of their post-secondary education.

The award is given in honour of the late John Wismer, who, during a three decade teaching and coaching career, encouraged the all-round development of student athletes, on and off the playing field.
