Newcomers to the American Hockey League, the Abbotsford (B.C.) Heat will get to know their North Division rivals, the Hamilton Bulldogs, this season. The two teams a total of eight times (four home games, four away games).
With the Heat – the Calgary Flames farm team – in, the Syracuse Crunch move from the North Division to the East Division and will play the ‘Dogs just twice this season (one home games, one away game). Hamilton will once again battle the Toronto Marlies 12 times this season (six and six) while meeting the Rochester Americans 10 times (five and five).
The Bulldogs will play every team from the West Division, including first-year entry the Texas Stars.
