Mohawk’s fastball season comes down to one game

The Mohawk women’s fastball team suffered a pair of shutout losses to the Seneca Sting in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association action at Mohawk Sports Park on Thursday (Oct. 8). Seneca won the opener 12-0. Emily Caravaggio was the losing pitcher for the Mountaineers. Jessica Roloson was tagged with the defeat as Seneca won the nightcap 10-0.

Mohawk now must go to Conestoga in Kitchener next Tuesday, October 13 for a playoff game to determine who’ll join Durham, St. Clair and Seneca in the OCAA Championship tourney to be hosted by Mohawk Oct. 15-17.
