Eisho doesn’t go quietly as ’Canes curtain closes

hurricnesThe Hamilton Hurricanes may have bowed out of the Ontario Football Conference’s playoff games on the weekend, but Aram Eisho went out with a bang. The ’Canes linebacker captured his third defensive player of the week award in Hamilton’s 13-10 overtime loss to the St. Leonard Cougars.

The second-year linebacker, out of St. Jean de Brebeuf Secondary School, earned the honour on the strength of his nine solo tackles, two assisted tackles, a quarterback sack, a blocked kick, a batted ball, and two forced fumbles.

The 6’1” 190 pounder’s total of 37 defensive points also included a special teams tackle.

Eisho is last year’s national defensive junior player of the year.
