Mohawk College had four runners in the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Cross Country Championships in Camrose, Alberta on Saturday (Nov. 14). Jonathan Redfearn finished 35th in a field of 88 men, completing the eight-kilometre course in 29:57. David Hirsh was 59th in 31:48. The race was won by Willie Kimosop of Lethbridge College in 25:53.
In the women’s five kilometre event, Fanshawe’s Liliane Sparkes was the winner in a time of 19:11, Mohawk’s Emily Hicks was 38th, clocking 22:20 and Marlin Kedini wound up 74th in 24:21. The women’s field had 90 runners.
