Habs reach out to Bulldogs for help


Hamilton Bulldogs’ forward J.T. Wyman has been recalled by the Montreal Canadiens. The National Hockey League’s Canadiens also announced Greg Stewart has cleared waivers and will be assigned to the American Hockey League’s Bulldogs for conditioning purposes.

Wyman, 23, has recorded nine points (three goals, six assists) and four penalty minutes in 19 games with the Bulldogs this season. In 2008-09, the native of Edina, Minnesota, played in 52 games with the ‘Dogs, earning 11 points (six goals, five assists) and eight penalty minutes while also posting eight assists and four penalty minutes in 15 games with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

The 6-foot-2, 199-pound right wing was drafted in the fourth round, 100th overall by Montreal in the 2004 Entry Draft.
