The Mohawk Mountaineers have kept their medal hopes alive at the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Men’s Volleyball Championship at Redeemer University College
The Mountaineers swept the Fanshawe Falcons 25-18, 25-19, 29-27 in their Friday (Feb.26) match. Four players, Chris Davidson, Mo Sulaiman, Cameron Henschel, and Andrew Ross, hit double digits in points for the Mountaineers, who were without all-star Ian Cameron, sidelined with a shoulder injury.
With the victory, Mohawk advances to the bronze medal semi-finals Saturday morning against either Durham or Humber.
Meanwhile, Fanshawe is eliminated.
