Mac quartet run for bronze

The McMaster women’s relay team comprised of Lisa Giles (Nepean, Ont), Jillian Wyman (Dundas), Sarah Haliburton (Richmond Hill, Ont) and Katie Anderson (Exeter, Ont) captured bronze in the 4×800m relay at the 2010 Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Track and Field Championship in Windsor.

The McMaster relay team – a freshman, two sophmores and a junior – crossed the finish line in a time of 9:05.78. The University of Windsor captured gold in a time of 8:58.40, with Guelph placing second, breaking the tape in 8:59.98.

McMaster second-year kinesiology major Sara Giovannetti competed in the 3,000m event, placing tenth in a time of 10:14.76
