The Hamilton Thunderbirds open up a three-games-in three-days weekend on the road before completing the session with two matinee games at home.
The Thunderbirds will travel to London tonight (Friday) to face the Majors. This is the third of five meetings this season. The teams have split the season series so far, each winning in the other’s park.
Saturday afternoon the Thunderbirds are back at Bernie Arbour Stadium to host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 2 p.m. for their third of five meetings on the season. Hamilton defeated the Leafs, 9-7, on May 28. The following Friday night Toronto beat Hamilton 8-2 in a game shortened by lightning.
Hamilton will close out the weekend hosting the Guelph Royals on Sunday, starting at 2 p.m. Guelph has won both games over Hamilton this season with two games remaining in the season series.
Saturday June 19 – Meet and Eat With The Hamilton Thunderbirds at Boston Pizza on Upper Centennial Parkway at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person that includes an all you can eat buffet dinner.
Sunday June 20 – The Thunderbirds will take to the field against the Barrie Baycats on ArecelorMittal/Dofasco Day.
Sunday, June 27 – The Thunderbirds will take to the field against the Brantford Red Sox on Boston Pizza Day.
Sunday, July 4 – Hamilton will hold its fourth annual Pink Ladies Day in Support of Run for The Cure. The Mississauga Twins will provide the diamond opposition.
Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16 – The Thunderbirds will run their third annual baseball camp for players aged eight to 15 years of age at Bernie Arbour Stadium. Cost for the camp is $175 per participant and there are limited spaces available. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.hamiltonthunderbirds.org.
