This year marks the 53rd anniversary of the CANUSA Games being held August 6-8, 2010 in Flint, Michigan. The CANUSA Games are an international sporting competition based on the foundation of friendship. The games are held annually between the cities of Flint, Michigan (USA) and Hamilton. They are considered to be one of the premier competitions of its kind.
This year’s Games will start with a Torch Run send off Tuesday August 3rd at 9:00am at City Hall. Mayor Eisenberger will be in attendance to officially send the CANUSA Torch on its 245 mile journey to Flint, Michigan. Fifteen athletes from Hamilton will run out of the city and then cycle over the next two days to the Opening Ceremonies taking place Friday August 6th at 12:00pm at Guy V. Houston Stadium in Flint.
