Mac women’s soccer gets kick out of Druchok

One goal from fifth-year midfielder Cheryl Druchok (Palgrove, Ont.) was all McMaster’s needed against the Gryphons to walk away from Alumni Field in Guelph with a 1-0 win.

Druchok’s second goal of the season came at 3:34 in the first half of the game. She recorded her first goal of the season against Western in game one, which also resulted in a 1-0 McMaster win.

Marauder goaltender Jocelyn Wilkins (London) kept three shots out of the net in the first half and two in the second to aid her team in the win.

The Marauders improve to 3-1-1 with the win while Guelph drops to 1-2-2. McMaster currently sits second in the OUA West with ten points. Queen’s leads the league with 15 points from their 5-1 record.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, Mac will host Brock at 6:00 p.m. on Les Prince Field.
