Masse reassigned from ‘Dogs to Nailers

The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Dany Masse has been reassigned from the Hamilton Bulldogs to the Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League.

Montreal signed an affiliation agreement with the ECHL Nailers for 2010–11, succeeding the Cincinnati Cyclones. The Nailers share affiliation with both the Canadiens and Penguins.

Masse, 22, played in one game with the Bulldogs this season recording two penalty minutes. Last year, the 5-foot-10, 188-pound left wing competed in 25 regular season games with the ‘Dogs posting five points (two goals, three assists) and six penalty minutes. The native of La Pocatiere, Quebec also played in nine post-season games with Hamilton in 2010, registering one assist.

Masse was signed as a free agent by the Canadiens on April 15, 2009.
