Turner converts scoring skills into national recognition

Fourth year honours arts and science student Natasha Turner (Rockcliffe) has been named a Canadian Interuniversity Sport (All-Canadian).

Turner finished the 2010 season with 35 points off seven tries to be the sixth highest scorer in Ontario University
Athletics. With an average of seven points per game, Turner led the Marauder bench to second place in the OUA Russell Division with a 4-1 record.

The 2010 OUA MVP has been an OUA All-Star for four consecutive seasons but this is her first appearance on an
All-Canadian Squad. But it’s the fifth season in a row that McMaster has been represented on the All-Canadian women’s rugby roster.

The CIS women’s rugby championship, hosted for the first time by Trent University, got under way Thursday and
culminates Sunday with the gold medal final at 2 p.m.
