Mohawk runners look to next year

Mohawk had four runners competing in the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Cross Country Championships at St. Thomas University in Fredericton New Brunswick on Saturday (Nov. 13).

In the men’s eight kilometre race, Jon Redfearn finished 33rd while Dustin Faith was 60th.

In the women’s 5k competition, Emily Hicks was 78th and Sandi Bryce, 97th.

“All the runners had good races,” said Mohawk coach Wayne Collins. “Jon and Dustin both produced season best times on a challenging, hilly course, with a fair bit of mud. The girls were happy with their times, too.

“Jon and Dustin both plan to be back next year.”
