Despite a late comeback, the McMaster women’s basketball team fell to the visiting Lakehead Thunderwolves, 60-57, Saturday night (Jan. 22) at the Burridge Gym.
Lakehead improved to 10-4 in conference play and McMaster dropped to 3-10 in Ontario University Athletics.
Taylor Chiarot had a double-double, scoring a game-high 15 points while grabbing 13 rebounds in the loss.
The Thunderwolves where led by Lindsay Druery and her 14-point performance.
McMaster returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 26 when the team travels to Waterloo to take on the Warriors. The game tips at 6 p.m.
