The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that Hamilton Police Services will be teaming up with the ‘Dogs to raise funds in support of St. Joseph’s Healthcare System and the Around the Bay Race at the ‘Dogs game this Saturday, March 5th. The Bulldogs will battle the Toronto Marlies at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at Copps Coliseum.
“The Bulldogs and Marlies are a great divisional rivalry, so fans will see great hockey and have a chance to help us support the great work done at St. Joes,” said Police Chief Glenn De Caire, who will be making a ‘special entrance’ at the start of the game.
There will be a number of planned events at the game including a top shot kids game and a special draw where the winner will get the chance to shoot the puck during the intermission for a chance to win $10,000. A number of members of the Hamilton Police Service will be honoured at the game.
Proceeds raised by Hamilton Police Services from this event will go towards reaching the Police Service’s $10,000 goal for St. Joseph’s Healthcare System through the Around the Bay Road Race.

The Bulldogs will host the Toronto Marlies in the first of back-to-back games this weekend when they battle the Marlies at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5th. The ‘Dogs will then travel to Toronto for a 1:00 p.m. game on Sunday, March 6th at Ricoh Coliseum. Sunday’s game can be seen live on CBC. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
