’Dogs Dumont in AHL doghouse for 10 games


The American Hockey League has suspended Hamilton Bulldogs center Gabriel Dumont for 10 games.

The sanction is the result of his actions in a game against Rochester on March 13 in Hamilton. Hamilton lost the game, 6-5.

Dumont’s suspension is supplementary discipline handed out after receiving a major penalty for boarding at 3:44 of the third period.

He will be eligible to return to the Hamilton lineup on April 4.
