If you can’t make Sunday’s home opener for the Hamilton Thunderbirds, don’t fret: Cable 14 will broadcast the game on a tape-delay basis later that day.
The Intercounty Baseball League game against the visiting Barrie Baycats, with a 2 p.m. first pitch at Bernie Arbour Stadium, will be aired on Cable 14 for all cable subscribers with Cogeco, Shaw and Source Cable in the Hamilton and Haldimand service area at 8 p.m.
Thunderbirds’ owner Drew Brady said “Without the support from the community, our sponsors and the media, like Cable 14, the team would not exist.”
Cable 14 will also broadcast several games between the Thunderbirds and Burlington Twins throughout the 2011 regular season.
Tickets for all Hamilton Thunderbirds home games are available at the Bernie Arbour Stadium Box Office on game day.
