The official opening of the new season of The Hamilton Challenger Baseball Association is set for Inch Park on Sunday May 29.
The kickoff will include a ribbon cutting ceremony around 2 p.m. when Councillor and supporter Scott Duvall will officially open the new sun shelter at Inch Park. The day’s activities will start around 1 p.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
From its humble beginnings more than 20 years ago, the HCBA has been providing quality programs of enjoyable sporting and social activities for more than 180 physically and cognitively challenged young athletes from the Greater Hamilton area. Through the hard work and dedication of volunteers, sponsors and supporters, the HCBA is once more able to provide a day in the sun with a chance to smile for those whom society often excludes. Please help us celebrate another milestone for our organization.
