PeeWee Cards add another win to perfect record

Hamilton Cardinals Major PeeWees remain unbeaten after downing the Simcoe Giants, 7-2, to lift their first-place record to nine victories

Brendan D’Agostino pitched five efficient innings, picking up the win for the Pee Wee Cardinals against a battling Simcoe squad on Wednesday (June 8). D’Agostino allowed one unearned run during his stint.

Ethan Hammond-Srsan pitched the final two innings earning his first save in the Inter-County Baseball Association game.

Brandon Chong led off the bottom of the sixth with a mammoth home run breaking open a close 3-2 game. The Cards added on three more runs in the same inning for the 7-2 victory.

Justin Snow had two RBI in the win while Caleb Radley and Hammond-Srsan each chipped in with one. Cardinals have a week off before facing the visiting Cambridge Cubs.
