Cardinals devoured by Tigers in Mississauga tournament


Hamilton Cardinals Tier 1 Major Mosquito team advanced to the semi-finals in a Mississauga tournament but were stopped.

The Cards went undefeated in round-robin play against the Bolton Braves, 10-8, Brampton Royals, 7-7, and the Scarborough Stingers, 12-2. The Cardinals, who compete in the Inter-County Baseball Association and lead their division with a 14-1 record, advanced to the quarter-finals and defeated the Oakville A’s, 10-6, but eventually fell to the host Mississauga North Tigers, 12-2, in the semis.

The Hamilton Cardinal Rep Baseball Association is accepting coaching applications for its 8 to 18-year-old 2012 rep baseball teams. Applicants are asked to submit a short resume and age level desired to cardinalsrep@hotmail.com
