No post-season for Mohawk soccer teams

The Mohawk men’s soccer team lost it’s season finale, 3-0 to the Sheridan Bruins in Oakville Tuesday, October 18. The Mountaineers, who finished 3-3-2, were locked in a scoreless draw until 20 minutes to go. Head coach Richard Bennett said “We didn’t finish our chances and it cost us. I’m proud of the players today.”

The Mohawk women’s soccer team also dropped out of post season play. The Mountaineers lost 3-1 to the Sheridan Bruins in Oakville Wednesday (Oct. 19) and finished their season with a 4-4-0 record, just missing out on the final four in the West Region.
