Hurricanes’ Bartolomeo named Special Teams OFC player of week

Hamilton Hurricanes kicker, Chris Bartolomeo, has been named Special Teams Player of the Week by the Ontario Football Conference.

Chris earned the honours after a solid performance in the OFC Semi-Final game against the St. Leonard Cougars. He had 7 kick offs for 305 yards, his longest being a 51 yard boot, he was 2 for 2 on field goals totaling 32 yards, his longest coming from a 19 yard attempt, and Chris wBent 4 for 4 on extra point converts. Chris contributed 10 points to the Hurricanes win in their week nine playoff game, which advanced them to this Saturday’s OFC Championship game.

The Hurricanes battle the Windsor AKO Fratmen for the OFC title Saturday at Windsor’s Alumni Stadium. The champion will host the CJFL Championship on November 12th.
