Bulldogs’ St. Denis is seeing stars

SPRINGFIELD, MA – Hamilton Bulldogs defenceman Frederic St-Denis has been named to the Western Conference roster for the 2012 American Hockey League All-Star Classic, which will take place on Jan. 29-30 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.

St-Denis, a native of Greenfield Park, Quebec, is appearing in the AHL All-Star Classic for the first time. The 25-year-old defenceman has played 23 games for the Bulldogs this season, recording three goals and 13 assists. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound defenceman has also played eight games in the National Hockey League this season, scoring one goal from four shots and earning a plus-1 rating with the Bulldogs’ parent team, the Montreal Canadiens. In 76 games with Hamilton in the 2010-11 season, St-Denis posted 23 points (five goals, 18 assists).

The Bulldogs next take to the ice when they face the Syracuse Crunch at Copps Coliseum on Friday (Jan. 6) at 7:30 p.m.
