Aaron Palushaj is taking the Montreal Express.
The Hamilton Bulldogs right-winger has been recalled by the National Hockey League parent Canadiens and is the third Bulldog to be summonsed this week from the American Hockey League affiliate. Andreas Engqvist and Louis Leblanc were recalled earlier this week.
Palushaj has played in 15 games this season with Canadiens. This is the Livonia, Michigan native’s fourth stint with Montreal.
Palushaj, 22, had four blocked shots, seven shots on goal, and averaged 6:36 of ice time per game in his previous visits.
The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward has suited up for 29 games with the Bulldogs this season, recording a team-leading 28 points (13 goals,15 assists) with 96 shots on goal.
The Bulldogs face the Griffins on Friday Feb. 3 and Feb. 4 at the Grand Rapids Van Andel Arena.
