The Montreal Canadiens have again recalled right-winger Aaron Palushaj from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Palushaj will join the National Hockey League’s Canadiens for Thursday’s (Feb. 9) game against the New York Islanders.
Palushaj, 22, has played in 17 games for Montreal this season. He notched one assist, his first career NHL point, on Sunday, Feb. 5 against the Winnipeg Jets. The 5-foot-11, 188-pound forward recorded 12 shots on goal, four blocked shots and 13 hits, while averaging 7:02 of ice time per game.
The Livonia, Michigan native has suited up for 30 games with the American Hockey League Bulldogs this season, and leads the team with 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) and has recorded 102 shots on goal.
The Bulldogs will be hosts to the Albany Devils on Friday (Feb. 10) at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
