There will be no medal for Mohawk College at this year’s Ontario Colleges Athletic Associations curling championships in Sault Ste. Marie.
The Mountaineers women’s team was defeated 6-5 by host Sault College in a tie-breaker on Saturday night (Feb. 18).
After a back and forth game, Sandy Toole’s foursome stole a point in the seventh end, but came up one short of the Cougars’ tally.
The Mohawk men, skipped by Wesley Steen, missed out as well, finishing with a 2-6 record in the round robin portion of their event.
