Alexander, 21, and a 6-4 centre, just completed her junior year for the Big Orange – Syracuse University. She graduated from Milton District high school. She is considered an “up-and-coming player” by Basketball Canada. She was a member of the women’s junior national team in 2008 and 2009.

The Canadian Senior Women’s National Team’s first competition will be against the Chinese Olympic team in the 2012 Jack Donohue International Classic, which will take place in Langley, Richmond and Abbotsford, British Columbia. These games will serve as a great test for the Canadian Senior Women’s National Team as this talented Chinese team currently ranks seventh worldwide. Canada is ranked eleventh.
