Hamilton Cardinals Minor PeeWees drub Twins

The Minor PeeWee1 Hamilton Cardinals improved their record to 4-1 on Wednesday (May 23), as they captured a blowout 12-2 win against the Twins in six innings at Tom Chater Park in Mississauga.

The Cardinals scored five runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Tommy Thompson, a two-run single by Jordan Simpson, and a two-run error. Simpson racked up four RBI on three hits for Hamilton.

Josh Tee pitched lights out for the Hamilton Cardinals. Tee gave up one run on just two hits, walked none and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

The Hamilton Cardinals tied the game in the second on an RBI single by Simpson who scored Thompson. Hamilton went up for good, scoring five runs on a two-run double by Cameron McLeod and an RBI single by Tee.
