Rookie Ball Cards corral Bulls

The Rookie Ball Hamilton Cardinals improved their Central Ontario Baseball Association record to five wins against three losses with a 14-5 victory over the Burlington Bulls on Tuesday (June 5).

Carson Johnson was 3-for-3 with a single, double, and a triple. He also scored a run and had three runs-batted-in. Myles Robinson was 3-for-3, scored two runs and had an RBI. Ryan Taylor was perfect at the plate in his three appearances with a run scored and an RBI.

Defensively, Myles Robinson and Justin DeZoete had strong assists throwing out runners from the outfield. Dylan Clement was solid and helped the cause with a great tag-and-throw double play at second base.

The Cards were scheduled to play in Brampton on Thursday (June 7).
