Peewee 2 Cards keep rolling along

The Minor Pee Wee 2 Hamilton Cardinals kept their perfect record intact, beating the visiting Burlington Bulls, 9-3, on Saturday (June 16). It was the second meeting between the two Central Ontario Baseball Association teams in three days. The Cards were 8-5 victors on Wednesday as the Cards now sport a 10-0 record.

Colton Roberts started and went a very strong six Innings, giving up three runs while recording two strikeouts and registering one walks. Jack Morin pitched the seventh frame and had a 1-2-3 Inning.

Brock Hudecki had a hit with two walks and scored three times. Jacob Gajic was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 with two singles, a double and scoring three times. Kyle Samson went 2-for-3.

Next action is Wednesday (June 20) at Mahoney Park against the visiting Brampton Braves. Game time is for 6 p.m. The two teams have yet to play each other after their May 21 game was postponed.
