Cards outlast Bulls in Peewee play

Offenses took the spotlight and the Hamilton Cardinals AAA Minor Peewees came out on top of a 13-9 Central Ontario Baseball Association result against the host Burlington Bulls.

Hamilton and Burlington lit up the scoreboard on Tuesday (July 10) as they combined for 20 hits during the six inning affair. Eight of those hits were for extra bases as the Cards posted their 10th win against five losses in regular season play.

Ryan Magdic racked up three RBI on two hits for Hamilton. He homered in the third inning and tripled in the sixth.

Sean Pettener got the win for the Cards. He gave up one run over 3 1/3 innings, walked two, and surrendered four hits.
