The Baycats clinched third place in the senior Intercounty Baseball League standings with a rain shortened 12-0 win over the Hamilton Cardinals, who were the home team for this game in Barrie.
Ryan Dillabough pitched five shutout innings for the win, allowing just two hits with five strikeouts and no walks as Barrie finished the season 21-15.
Matt Richardson homered, had two hits and drove in four runs for the Baycats, while Jon Waltenbury had three hits, three runs scored and two RBI. Kyle DeGrace drove in three runs and Jordan Lundberg had two hits and scored twice for the Baycats, who had ten hits in the game.
Miles Swartz was the loser for Hamilton. He allowed ten runs on ten hits over five innings with three walks.
Dan Jagdeo and Chris Redfern had the lone Hamilton hits in the game as the Cardinals finished with no thunder, and a 6-30 record.
